Legally Blonde Kansas City Theatre reviews
David Copperfield lost the connection.
His latest show, having seen Legally Blonde over 6 times now, lacked a connection with the audience. It came across rather flat and un-emotional, I guess when you do so many shows per year you just get into a rhythm. The story about his grandfather was presented like a student reading an essay in an English class, but the connection was not there. I still love to see David Copperfield perform, don't get me wrong, but this show was a bit disappointing. Maybe on his next trip to Detroit he will bring at least one new trick, oh well... There wasn't even one new trick in this show, the same as the one I saw over three years ago when he was at the FOX and that show had even more tricks in it.
